"Islamic Group" Protesters Chased Away By The Police. Recently, Police operatives in FCT (Federal Capital Territory) chased away members of IMN (Islamic Movement of Nigeria) protesters in "Apo-Gudu". Mariam Yusuf (The command’s spokeswoman) disclosed this information in a statement released on Saturday in Abuja.
The police and Department of State Services operatives have rescued 14 persons abducted by kidnappers in the Byazhin, Kubwa Area of Bwari Area Council in Abuja. The victims, who were kidnapped at Gaweaka by gunmen, were rescued at the Bwari hills by a combined team of police and DSS operatives on Thursday.
