The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike reportedly threatened to bar the former governor of Akwa Ibom State and the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, from using a road Rivers State government is constructing. According to the Rivers State Governor, he made it known that there was an agreement between the Rivers State government, the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC and the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, on how to contribute to the construction of the road, but unfortunately, Akpabio and his ministry has not contributed even one Naira.
