Following the attack of the Nigeria Correctional Services (NCS), Owerri District on 5th April by unknown bandit, over 1,200 are still at large out of 1,844 inmates that escaped.According to the Guardian Nigeria, Goodluck Uboegnulam, the NCS Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the district, revealed yesterday that only 600 of the inmates returned, either through re-arrest or voluntarily, as the officers of NCS are making effort in ensuring the other inmates return and the incident didn't recur.
