The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is questioning Isa Bola Bakare and his son, Malik Giles Bakare, in connection with an alleged plot to commit computer-related fraud. They were seized on suspicion of collecting money under pretenses and keeping revenues from illegal activity. On May 31, 2021, Malik was apprehended by officers from the Nigeria Police Force CID, Alagbon in Lagos, and handed over to the EFCC.
