Some days ago a video surfaced online which showed an unnamed man harrasing the super falcons, that is the female Nigerian team. The man was seen in the video tongue lashing and abusing the super falcons of Nigeria. Many Nigerians reacted to the video including the likes of femi Fani Kayode, the former Nigerian minister of aviation, and Senator Shehu Sani, the former Nigerian senator representing Kaduna central, who totally condemned the activities by the man.
There are many Nigerian-born footballers who snubbed playing for Nigeria to play for other countries. So many of them were contacted by the Nigerian Football Federation, but they have chosen to play for other national teams. Some of them are doing very well for their National teams currently.
The embarrassment Nigerian Super Eagles' faced at Eko Hotel in Lagos State, could have been avoided, if the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), had chosen not to use a private business, rather establish a permanent base for the National team. The Super Eagles gym session at Eko Hotel training camp was interrupted, by the staff of the hotel, it got so bad, that it even escalated into an argument with the coaching crew.
