Nigeria Now Has 264 Universities - National Universities Commission
The National Universities Commission (NUC), has stated that the number of universities in Nigeria is now 264. These include Federal, State and Private and Corporations universities. According to punchng.com, Professor Abubakar Rasheed, the Executive Secretary of the commission, stated this while issuing provisional licenses to some newly established private universities in Abuja.
