Imo state Governor, Hope Uzodinma, was said to have sacked 20 out of his 28 commissioners on Wednesday,12th, May 2021, due to security challenges and other personal reasons not stated.Uzodinma alleged that the sacked commissioners were sabotaging his administration after some assignation threats were made against him by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
