Bandits have kidnapped Iorliam Jennifer Awashima, a newly mobilized corps member on her way to the region where she was allegedly posted for service. The incident happened in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State when unidentified bandits attacked the vehicle conveying the corps member identified as Iorliam Jennifer Awashima to Kebbi State.

The Supreme court today, 14 July 2021 has granted an order of injunction restraining the Federal Government and its agencies from ceding 17 oil wells located at Akri and Mgbedero, Imo state.
