One dead, 12 arrested as Lagos police repel hoodlums attempting to burn stations.

Reports have it that Police operatives, on Monday repelled some hoodlums, who attempted to burn down police stations, in two different areas of the state. According The PUNCH, a motorcyclist, who is yet to be identified, was alledgedly shot dead by a cop in Oke-Ode, Ile-Epo axis, along the Lagos Abeokuta Expressway, Lagos, on Monday.

NNPC pipeline explodes in Abule-Egba, Lagos

A pipeline belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has exploded in the Oke-Ode area of Abule-Egba, Lagos State on Sunday evening. This has caused a chaos in the area. Firefighters from three stations are currently at the scene and it is under control. According to reports, the fire incident is still under investigation but was said to been caused by vandals, who, in a bid to steal fuel broke the pipeline in a bid to steal fuel.
