The call for secession by Nnamdi Kanu’s led Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), might not prevent the agitation for another secession within the southeast, according to the Anglican Bishop of Kaduna, Rt. Rev. Timothy Yahaya. Bishop Yahaya, while speaking to journalists said if the southeast get their wish of a sovereign Biafra republic, there will still be agitations for secession within the southeast because of disagreements among other indigenous Igbo ethnicities.

One secondary school student has been killed, while unspecified number of varsity students were kidnapped, by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen, in Imo state. The gunmen attacked the students on Sunday, September 19, in Okigwe Local Government Area, Imo state. The deceased student was identified as a student of Marist Comprehensive Academy, Uturu, in Abia state, while the abducted students were students of the Abia State University, Uturu.
The 'Youngest Lawyer' Recently Called To Bar Was Initially Denied Admission By A Nigerian University
More details about the Nigerian lady that was called to bar recently as the youngest lawyer has emerged. According to Barrister NG, the young lady identified as Esther Chukwuemeka, was called to Nigerian bar on Wednesday, July 28, at the age of 20. It was gathered that the lady from Okigwe, Imo State, finished her secondary school at the age of 13, passed her SSCE and got admission to ABSU, but the Nigerian university denied her admission because she was underage.
Barrister Esther Chukwuemeka showed class and brilliance as she made history as one of the youngest lawyers in the country. A Young Girl named Esther Chukwuemeka from Okigwe, Imo State, who finished her secondary School education at the Age of 13, and got admitted into Abia State University (ABSU), but was denied admission into the Nigerian University for being too young.

Some unknown gunmen have attacked the Nnewi police command in Anambra state on Monday 9 August 2021. The police station which was attacked is located in the Okigwe Road area of Umudim, Nnewi. According to an eyewitness, the Gunmen overpowered the policemen and made away with some guns.
