According to Vangaurd News report,President Bola Tinubu, along with the All Progressives Congress (APC), has strongly opposed the tendering of evidence extracted from the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines used during the 2023 presidential election. Tinubu's legal team, led by renowned lawyer Wole Olanipekun, SAN, challenged the admissibility of certified copies of BVAS printouts presented by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, before the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) in Abuja.
