Ilorin youths protest over increment in price of marijuana
Ilorin the capital of Kwara state has been thrown into pandemonium as youths decried the increment in the cost of Cannabis sativa, popularly known as "igbo" or "weed". Youths in Alore town went berserk, destroying properties while calling on sellers of the banned substance to bring down the price and hoping somehow the federal government will legalize the sale of Cannabis. The secretary of state of the Christian Association's of Nigeria (CAN), Dr. Olusola Ajolore, was pained by the recent activities of the youths.

Kwara State elders are worried about the high rate of crime among youths in Ilorin the state capital, this is coming after some youths destroyed 'Alore town' over the increased price of marijuana popularly known as 'Igbo'. It was reported that the angry youths protested for two days unleashing terro on residents and destroying properties of alleged dealers of the illicit substance, asking them to reduce the price.
