According to Vanguard, African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore claimed that President Bola Tinubu is about to face public resistance over his "thoughtless petrol subsidy policy". In a post via his Twitter account on Sunday, Sowore claimed that "Tinubu was driven by imprudence when he boasted that he would eliminate subsidies whether people protested or not."
