NANS make u-turn, joins June 12 protest in Osogbo The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) has made a u-turn on its initial decision ordering members to boycott the June 12 nationwide protest. The Osun State chapter of the association joined the nationwide protest in Osogbo, the state capital, on Saturday.

A man has been arrested in Osun State after he was caught in possession of some severed human parts. The Osun State Police Command via its spokesperson released a statement about the arrest of the suspect on Thursday. It was revealed that the suspect is one 40-year-old Kabiru Oyeduntan and he was found in possession of dismembered human parts which reportedly belongs to a yet-to-be-identified lady.
A 50-year old man identified as Adewumi Gbadamosi has explained how he sold human parts to one pastor in Ilesha, Osun State. He made the shocking revelations today after he was nabbed by the police. He was apprehended with a farmer named Akotami who connected him with a 40-year old pastor, Adetunji Olagunju.

The Osun State Government has stated that herdsmen can stay in the state on a condition that, they are enumerated and given an identity card. The statement was released after a meeting was held at the State Secretariat in Osogbo, the Osun State capital. The meeting was held by the State Government officials with Fulani/Bororo herdsmen and crop farmers representatives.
