When the citizens of a country, state or region expect much of their leaders but they get less in return, they get disillusioned. Their disillusionment may however lead to agitations such as protests against the government. For some indigenes of Ota, Ogun State, the bad roads in the state is putting their lives at risk, hence the recent protest.
Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder and Presiding Bishop of Winners Chapel, has explained why he collected back something he once gave to a beggar. He disclosed this while ministering during the first Sunday Covenant Day of Favour Service held on the 26th of September 2021 at the headquarters of his church, Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State.
In the early hours of today, several photos and videos flocked social media platforms about the commencement of a protest in Sango Ota axis of Ogun State. The protest was about the state of some basic amenities in the state. The protesters urged the governor of the state, His Excellency Dapo Abiodun, to ensure that the roads in the state are fixed.

Police in Ogun State said on Sunday that they have arrested an ex-convict, Segun Ogundeji, who impersonated as a soldier at Sango-Ota Police Divisional Headquarters in Ogun. Police spokesman in Ogun, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, made the declaration in a statement issued in Ota. Oyeyemi stated that Ogundeji was arrested when he went to Sango-Ota Divisional Headquarters, fully dressed in army camouflage to solicit for the release of a suspect.
