It was reliably gathered that Aregbesola and his Loyalists complained of being marginalised in the Party. Aregbesola's Loyalists were not given any juicy Political appointments, in Oyetola's Administration.

According to Punch, politicians belonging to the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State on Wednesday endorsed Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, the incumbent Governor of Osun State for another term in office. The top politicians that endorsed him are Senate spokesperson, Basiru Ajibola and the immediate past deputy governor of Osun State, Mrs. Titi Laoye-Ponle, and other top politicians in the State.
Some Southwest Governors may not be able to win their second term as Governors of their various States. The reason is that the Governors are not having good relationship with their Leaders in their various States. The Governors who may not be able to win their second term in their States shall be discussed one after the other in this article.
The Crisis Between the Governor of Osun State, Governor Gboyega Oyetola and his Predecessor, Rauf Aregbesola could only be settled with the intervention of some Prominent Leaders in the State. Governor Oyetola and Aregbesola have not been able to settle their grievances in the state. It should be recalled that Oyetola and Aregbesola started fighting each other, immediately after the 2018 Governorship Election.

It was gathered that Governor Oyetola's faction conducted their Congress at Osogbo city Stadium while Aregbesola's faction conducted their Congress at Open field, opposite Ladsol Pure water in Osogbo, osun state.

According to a report by The Nation, the Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola has signed into law the prohibition of open grazing in the state. It is no longer news that farmers herders clashes have been increasing all over the country, farmers complain of herders having their cows graze in their farms while herders complain of their cattle being rustled.
