Former Rivers state governor has led a group of aggrieved politicians within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) known as the G5 or the Integrity Group to meet President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Aso Rock in Abuja. In attendance at the meeting aside, Wike are one serving governor and three former governors within the party.

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday met with members of G5 or the Respectability Group at the Aso villa, Abuja. The gathering, drove by one serving Governors and four previous Governors caused a significant division inside the People democratic party subsequent to requesting the then National chairman, Iyorchia Ayu step down for a southern substitution as a precondition to help the official desire of the party's Flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar in the February 25 survey.
