The river state police command has announced that it has arrested one civil defence operative for allegedly shooting a civilian bus driver in the state. The ugly incident occurred in the city of Port Harcourt. In a statement obtained by punch newspapers, the commissioner of police in the state, CP Eboka Friday, disclosed that in addition to the arrest of the civil defence operative, he also ordered the arrest of a local vigilante for killing a trader at GSM village.
