FG Declares A Public Holiday The Federal Government of Nigeria through the Minister of Interior Rauf Aregbesola has declared Monday 14th as a public holiday to mark Democracy Day in Nigeria, the PUNCH has reported. Recalling that the Democracy Day which was supposed to be on the 29th of every May has been rearranged by President Muhammadu Buhari to every 12th of June in honour of former Presidential candidate late M. K. O. Abiola.
