In a courtesy call by the Chairman to the chief judge of Rivers State, to honor the Gokana people by commissioning the customary and magistrate courts renovated by his administration.

It was an emotional moment at the Rivers State High Court after a Judge, Hon Justice S.C Amadi refused to dissolve a marriage between couples. The couples had filed a suit demanding that their marriage be dissolve after what seem to be irreconcilable differences between the couples in a marriage that has produced a son. The applicant's council had said his applicant is no longer interested and seek for their resolution

EFCC staff Hussaini Abubakar sentenced to one year imprisonment for stealing

A former staff of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission Hussaina Abubakar has been sent to jailed for stealing. He was sentenced to one year imprisonment with N150,000 option of fine, for stealing. He was accused of "stealing a Lenevo S60-A (daul sim) worth N18,000 (Eighteen Thousand Naira), belonging to one Chuku Nelson Nyegam and thereby committed an offence." The Economic and Financial Crime Commission took the accuser to court on a three count charge-stealing. He was sentenced to one year in priso

Nigerian based anti graft agency has announced the arrest of its former staff for stealing exhibits. The news was announced on their Twitter page, the culprit was convicted and sentenced by Justice S.C Amadi of the Rivers State High Court on 19th February, 2020.
