The South-East geo-political zone is seriously pushing for the two top political parties in Nigeria, the PDP and APC to zone their 2023 presidential tickets to the South-East. Many South-East politicians believe that 2023 should be the turn of Igbos to produce the President of Nigeria. Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi is one of those who believe that the South-East should produce the President of Nigeria in 2023.
