Fire has reportedly broken out at an INEC office in Akure Ondo State. According to the latest Twitter thread from the account of the Independent National Electoral Commissioner, the fire which started at about 8pm today burned down the container housing Smart Card Readers. The Independent National Electoral Commission has taken delivery of a new consignment of Smart Card Readers to replace the ones burnt in fire incident that occurred on 10th Sept, as the election is set to come up on 10th October, 2020. This was revealed in a tweet posted by INEC Nigeria on its verified Twitter handle @inecnigeria, notifying the general public about the delivery. Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission's office in Ondo state was on fire on 10th of September, 2020 leading to
