In the face of the lingering problem of insecurity in the nation, some state governors in the northern part of the country have called on citizens of their states to defend themselves against the incessant vicious attacks by armed Fulani bandits. A few days ago, the governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle, repeated the call for citizens of the state to rise and defend themselves when the bandits attack their communities.The governor had made a similar call in the not-so-distant past.
