Buka Suka Dimka was a Nigerian Army Officer who is well known for his role in the counter-coup of 1966 along with Timothy Onwuatuegwu which troubled the government of the Nigerian Prime Minister, Tafawa Balewa. On February 13, 1976, Buka Suka Dimka masterminded another military coup against the government of General Murtala Mohammed.
Timothy Onwuatuegwu was a Former Nigerian Army Major who was later appointed by Ojukwu as a Biafran Army Major. Whenever his name is mentioned, what comes to mind is his involvement in the 1966 military coup in an attempt to overthrow Nigerian Prime Minister, Tafawa Balewa, which was stopped by General Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi.
