The South-East is the only geopolitical zone in the Southern region that has not produced the President of Nigeria. Olusegun Obasanjo(South-West) was President from 1999-2007. Goodluck Jonathan(South-South) was President from 2011-2015. The South-East is the only zone that it is yet to take its turn.
