The 49th convocation and conferment of Bachelor Degrees of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, held today 11th June, 2021. The venue for the convocation ceremony was the Margaret Ekpo Convocation Arena, located at the main campus of the University in Nsukka. The events to mark the 49th convocation commenced from the 9th of June, and it will last till the 12th of June, which will be the conferment of Masters and Doctorate degrees.The University awarded different levels of degrees to a total of 11,110 students, out of which 7,513 graduands were awarded first degrees; 182 were awarded first class degrees (summa cum lauda), 4,048 were awarded second class, supper divisions and 5, 118 second class, lower divisions.
