The Academic Staff Union Of Universities has expressed its action to go on another round of strike if the federal government of Nigeria did not attend their request, The federal government in return has appealed to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) not to proceed with its planned strike.
The Federal government is increasingly coming to fruition with the Academic Workers Union of Universities (ASUU). Recall that occasionally, in March 2020, University lecturers went on a strike to press for the FG. The strike that took place for nearly 8 months saw both the federal and state universities shut down, while students were sent home and left on the street without doing anything fair.
