The House of Representatives has rejected a bill suggesting to provide for a single term of six (6) years for the President of the nation (Nigeria) and Governors of the 36 states. The constitutional amendment bill also seek to provide for an unlimited tenure of six (6) years for members of the national assembly (Senate and House Of Representatives) and state houses of assembly.
